FAQ

Please see our most Frequently Asked Questions below. Still need an answer? Please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Q: What data do you require to look up parts for my machine?
A: Always make note of as much information as you can, but the most crucial data are your MODEL, TYPE, and SERIAL numbers. If you are unsure of how to locate this information, our staff can give you tips on where to look for it on your equipment.

Q: Do you repair equipment brands that you are not a dealer for?
A: We must give priority to equipment that falls within our contracted lines, John Deere lawn & garden, STIHL, Toro walk-behind lawn & garden and MTD. Many off-brands do not provide us with technical documentation and parts catalogs. This may mean that an off-brand is not practical for us to repair in a timely and cost-effective manner. Please see this link for more information about repairs/service.

Q: You sold me the wrong part.
A: That's not a question but are you certain you provided us with the information we asked for in order to make an accurate selection?

Q: What is the shelf life of gasoline?
A: There are many factors that affect the usable life of gasoline, but a good rule to follow is to not keep gas-station gasoline more than a month in your containers or equipment. Properly sealed containers, high octane blends, and additives can greatly extend the useful life of gasoline. We also offer special fuels that can last years.

Q: I would like to rent a piece of equipment and return it outside your business hours. How can I do this?
A: We try to structure our rates in a manner that allow users to return equipment during business hours without paying undue overcharges. Sometimes a bit of forward planning will be required on your behalf. Please speak to us if you have special circumstances and we will try our best to accommodate.

Q: Which one of you is 'Pete'?
A: At the time of writing this FAQ, we currently have one staff member named Peter, but you are probably wanting to know about the founder; Peter Zynomirski who the company is named for and who retired in the 1980's. We do our best to maintain a shop that he approves of.
